The Best FREE Christmas Activities To Do With The Family (Blogmas Day 10)

Hey y'all! I'm back with another blogmas blog for you all and we're on day 10! Can you believe only 15 days until Christmas? We're counting down to the best holiday of the year and today I'll be sharing the best FREE activities you can do with the family this holiday season if you're looking to spend less and savor a bit more quality time with the people you love most.

walk/ drive around to see Christmas lights- This is probably one of my favorite things to do and its absolutely FREE! Gather the family and pile in the car and visit some of the best neighborhoods with Christmas lights. We love to play our favorite Christmas tunes and cruise down the street sipping on our hot chocolate or coffee beverages while we watch the houses. You can easily do this walking around too- just make sure to bundle up!

serve- Giving is always so much more fulfilling than receiving and people who are less fortunate are in great demand especially around this time of year. If you don't have the money to give to your favorite charity, church or organization- there may be a way to give your time instead! Volunteer by feeding the homeless, sorting through food at the local food pantry or serving in reading Christmas books at your local library to kids. The time you spend giving can be so much more valuable than anything you can buy and can really help make some one else's day.

baking- If you tend to have a stocked pantry filled with goods this could be a fun idea for you! It only takes a few key ingredients like flour, baking powder, sugar and eggs to create something yummy for everyone. Chances are you have everything you need already in your home, making this idea cost free and delicious!

make Christmas cards- Like baking, this only takes a few materials to create something beautiful. Gather up some paper and crayons and you can have your kids make cards for different members of the family. If you have glue you can get really creative and gather materials from outside (grass, sticks, leaves or flowers) to paste onto the cards, the same works if you happen to have ribbon, glitter or scrap fabric too. A homemade card is such a special gift to give and super cute coming from your little one!

I'm on the hunt for more free family Christmas activities to do this year. Share with me your best ideas below!
