Hey y'all! It's Blogmas Day 11 and I'm sure many of you have already gotten your Christmas shopping over and done with, I wanted to share a fun way to get those presents Christmas Day ready with a wrap party. If you haven't heard of a wrap party before it's basically a get together that you can host with family and friends in wrapping the gifts you've purchased.
Hosting a wrap party is a fun way to gather for the Christmas season and have some fun! Let's start with the invites- this type of even is casual so sending out an email notification to the attendees a week or so in advance will do just fine. Get your home prepped by selecting your favorite Christmas music to play or even having a festive movie play in the background. Have everyone bring wrapping paper, sicors and tape to share along with any gift tags and ribbons to help your gifts really pop under the tree. I like to set out cozy blankets and a few pillows for guests to feel right at home wrapping presents together. Light a few candles and you're good to go!
On the day of your wrap party have a few snacks set out for guests to munch on- wrapping presents can be hard work you know! Here are some food ideas to get the party going:
- Chex Mix
- Cookies or Brownies
- Red and Green M&M's
- Chips and Dip
- Punch, Water or Hot Chocolate
Depending on how many people are coming, you can ask others to help pitch in for food and bring a snack for the group. When guests arrive set up all materials in the middle of your meeting space (the floor of your home or a table) and grab what you please to get your gifts looking cute! This is a fun way to catch up with your loved ones and spend some quality time together without spending a ton of money. Gifts will need to get wrapped one way or another- might as well make it fun!
Until next time,
